Allow Me to Re-Introduce Myself

Hi.

Its been awhile.

My name is Anna.

I'm 21 years old and attend college in Ohio, where I study English with an emphasis on General Writing.

It has been 5 years since I've posted which is way too long. Thank goodness I have not stopped writing and I am still very passionate about everything horse related. I'm a little older and technically an Amateur exhibitor now (wow) time flies!

A couple of quick horse updates...

In 2017, my adorable bay colt, Dr. Hoo (Hot Ones Only X Turn Me Loose Star) was born. Sadly his mother and my first horse, Star, passed away from colic complications a month later. Thus George became an orphan colt, but thankfully he had spent a month with his mother and so he gained that initial colostrum. 
Now George is 2 years old and growing every day. 

Around 2016 I purchased a palomino gelding named Johnny, who is the most adorable character. He has the personality of a surfer dude and the most drop dead gorgeous lope. 

Also, I still own Sassy, my sweet but vertically challenged bay mare. She is currently being leased by a youth rider who is showing in the all-around events while I finish school.





I originally created this blog to capture the experience of a rider who fell in love with quarter horses and worked hard to achieve her dreams. Now I want to relay advice to other riders and beginners while reminding equestrians what showing is all about.
